There are a number of basic requirements that must be fulfilled before a New Zealand Company can be established. In order to complete its incorporation, a proposed New Zealand Company must have:
- A unique name, which has been reserved and approved with the New Zealand Companies Office
- One or more Shareholders, who may be an individual or a corporate shareholder
- One or more eligible Director
- Issued capital of one or more shares
- Registered Office Address in New Zealand
- Address for Service in New Zealand
